Junior Web Developer with IT Tech 1-2 skills Needed
Immediate Opening for an In-House Junior Web Developer with IT Skills Needed. Experience in WordPress a Must.
This is not a remote position.
This position is for a Junior Web Developer with IT Tech 1-2 skills. Responsibilities include daily IT duties, for example, setting up Mac or PC computers. Must be proficient in building websites in WordPress, building from an existing theme and then customizing with all website assets, incorporating content, content management, and launch of websites. We are NOT looking for a high-end developer or programmer, but someone who knows the ins and outs of WordPress and similar platforms and is skilled in creating cohesive, aesthetic designs.
Basic skills in SEO are preferred. This position will assess all of our corporate websites and tools to recommend keywords, link strategies, and web analytics. Basic skills in PPC Campaigns are preferred but not required.
• IT Tier 1-2 skills for both Mac and PC
• Proficient in using and building WordPress Websites (using and installing themes, child themes, plugins, etc.)
• Proficient in PhotoShop with an eye for composition and color
• Experience in CSS and HTML (editing and creating custom)
• Experience with other Content Management Systems.
• Basic skills in Google Adwords, SEO, PPC Campaigns, etc.
• Basic skills in Google and Bing’s services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
• Must be able to provide multiple examples of recent web design work
Must have good communication skills, attention to detail, organization skills and work well in a team setting. There will often-times be more than one project going at the same time, so ability to organize and manage tasks is a must.

Event Marketing Specialist
VistaGraphics, INC, a multi-faceted media company based in Coastal Virginia that includes publications like Coastal Virginia Magazine, seeks an Event Marketing Specialist to market and coordinate sales of event sponsorships and vendor/booth sales.
Most events are affiliated with and branded to one of our publications. Position will hold primary responsibility for sponsor and vendor deliverables for all events with many deliverables tied back to the publication brand the event is affiliated with.
This position will also play a key role on the events team reporting to the Director of Marketing and working closely with the Events Manager. In addition to event marketing, position responsibility will also include both inside and outside ad sales for several ancillary publications, most of which are annual.
